This transformative 10-week course offers an exclusive interdisciplinary exploration of gemstones, weaving together ancient wisdom from the Torah, modern science, and an atomic-level understanding of energy into a comprehensive understanding of these gifts from the earth. Students will begin by examining gemstones through the lens of Torah and Jewish tradition, exploring the sacred Avnei Hachoshen (Breastplate stones) and their profound significance throughout Jewish history.
The journey continues with a brief scientific deep-dive, a look into crystal lattice structures, chemical compositions, and atomic vibrations, providing a solid foundation in the geological and physical properties that make each stone unique. (Don’t worry – this is not a science course!)
Building upon this knowledge, the course introduces the energetic perspective, examining how human organ systems have their own vibrational patterns that interact with the subtle frequencies of gemstones. These seemingly disparate viewpoints are then masterfully integrated, creating a holistic framework that spans from quantum mechanics to human biology.
Special notice is made of the four classical precious stones—diamond, sapphire, emerald, and ruby—explored through historical and Kabbalistic teachings.

Rivka Levron holds a medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a PhD in Neuroscience from Columbia University. She spent a decade pursuing biomedical research at the National Institutes of Health before making aliya.
She now serves as a college lecturer in biological sciences at Touro College Israel, Maalot (Gratz College), Meohr (Michlalah Yerushalayim), and the Jerusalem College of Technology (Machon Tal). Outside of teaching, speaking, and caring for her family,
